We like being close to nature, are well equipped and always ready to accompany you on the activity of your choice.

Explore Lefkimmi lake, visit the observatory and eagle nests, admire the fossil forest with its 30 to 40 million-year-old oak tree trunks, enjoy a mountain bike ride down Lefkimi and get to know the surrounding area by jeep (4×4), bicycle or even by following the hiking trails.

A sports centre was developed in recent years just 6 kilometres away, at the entrance of Tyhero on the shores of the lake. It includes a horse riding club, tennis court, a mini football field, and a swimming pool and beach volleyball facilities for the summer months. On their premises, Riverland offers the opportunity to safely try archery, canoeing and cycling along the river.

There is also a lot to do at the guest house’s communal areas, which include a play room, a baby room, a rally room for ‘big children’ and a sauna and hamam for relaxation.

THE FOSSIL FOREST OF LEFKIMMI

Following an easy trail a few metres out of the village of Lefkimmi, one comes to a beautiful monument of nature. The Lefkimmi fossil forest, which is 40 million years old, is a forest of rare beauty and the only one of its kind in Europe. Its fossils are scattered all over the lush green forest. This is a walk really worth taking.

Descent to Lefkimmi by bicycle

We suggest you admire the greatness of nature through a wonderful route 17 km to the top of Kapsalo. Experienced cyclists can test their endurance by climbing to the top. But for the rest, nothing is forbidden, since we take you by bike to the top, in order, without any effort, to admire nature descending to the hostel.

Walk on the lake of Lefkimmi

At a distance of 15 km from the hostel, in the heart of the forest, there is a wonderful lake. The route and the tour of the lake will impress you!

Around the guesthouse and to the traditional village of Lefkimmi there are marked paths through which you can comfortably and safely navigate the forest.
